This is also the time that Hanoi is full of violet and white color of daisy flowers.

Originally from the North Vietnam, bauhinia is planted in Hanoi for ten years but it is the Hanoi symbol in March. A number of teenagers find Bac Son Street is the ideal place to pose with the simplicity of bauhinia trees. It is more alluring through the lens of photographers.


April of sophisticated Lily
White Lily flower mixes Hanoi with the beginning of summer in April. From every corner, the image of this white flower attracts all ages of Hanoians. Biking through streets, you easily catch the girls holding a bunch of lily flower to take intriguing photos.

Fact: Visit Tay Tuu flower village and you are soaked into the immense lily flower fields as well as witness how farmers plant and grow it every day.

June of elegant Lotus
Lotus shows its own most enchanting beauty and perfume in sunny summer in June. At that time, many teenagers and photographers go to Lotus pond in West Lake to take their best photos. You also see the lotus from the vendors along the streets. Vietnamese purchase it from vendors and arrange it into a vase like a small jar. For them, it is the symbol of purity and simplicity.
Fact:  Lotus is regarded as Vietnamese National Flower.  It is also the symbol on logo of Vietnam Airlines.


July of resplendent Sunflowers
Sunflowers go to the streets and captivate you by its blazing yellow color of sunshine in July. Each corner filled with sunflowers towards the sun, towards the light. Hanoi is not still dreamy in the gentle season of Lotus, Hanoi would change its gentle lotus dress to bright yellow outfit: the sunny sunflowers. 


August and September of passionate Milk Flowers
Milk flower may be the first thing that recalls people of Hanoi in fall. People flock to the city street to see and smell the fragrant tart-sweet flower. It is typical image of Hanoi on the arrival of autumn. Wandering in the streets in evening, you are pervaded with the fragrance of milk flowers. Additionally, it appears in the song and poet as the symbol of Hanoi in autumn. “Hoa sua” is such a famous song!
Fact: Nguyen Du Street is the best place to soak into such a pervasive milk flower.


October of seduced Globe Amaranth
Hanoi welcomes October by the deep violet of bach nhat from vendors. Not as delight as banaba in shine of summer, its gentle purple color associates with a little bit dry in autumn. Nowhere is more magnetic than Nhat Tan garden flower in these days of October.

It is true that only by looking at the flower bikes along the Hanoi streets, you can know which seasons it is. That’s one of the most special thing about this charming city.
