Photos: The Old Quarter before Hanoi Liberation Day

October 10th 1954, Hanoi was completely liberated from the French colonial rule. It was truly a great day for not only the city but for the whole nation of Vietnam.

60 years later, Hanoi are holding a big ceremony for this historic event. The streets of the capital city are gorgeously decorated. Let's take a quick look of the famous Old Quarter in the evening 2 days before the ceremony.
